1V1 Futbol Dreams Academy meets the 37 Canada Soccer Association Standards For Quality Soccer Requirements. MSA board of directors on February 12, 2020 approved 1v1 Futbol Dreams Academy’s application to become the newest Manitoba Soccer Quality Provider. The Canada Soccer Standards For Quality Soccer (SQS) are designed to outline the minimum expectations of member organizations in Canada. 1V1 Futbol Dreams Academy will provide a developmentally appropriate, safe, enjoyable, accessible, inclusive and welcoming playing environment for their participants as they work towards completing their own development pathway in soccer. “We felt becoming a SQS provider to be an important step for our organization,” said Nano Romero, Co-founder of 1v1 Futbol Dreams Academy, “This gives our program credibility and the opportunity to participate in MSA member leagues. We hope to one day have our players play in the MSA Cup.” 1V1 Futbol Dreams operates in Winnipeg and surrounding areas of Manitoba throughout the year providing programming for ages 4 through to adult hood. Recently, 1v1 Futbol Dreams Academy player pathway was extended to include the newly acquired USL League2 franchise, FC Manitoba. “SQS gives our community the minimum level of assurance that our player pathway requires,” said Enrique Garcea, Co- founder of 1v1 Futbol Dreams Academy, “Our Academy will continually evolve with every domestic and international competition to improve our training for coaches and players.” 1V1 Futbol Dreams Academy has already begun negotiations to enter a new local youth league as well as entering sanctioned tournaments in Canada and the United States.
